Cover art is a visual representation of what the artist is trying to say of themselves and should be taken very seriously as that is the image one remembers when they think of your music (for example Dizzee Rascals dirtee skank is a pic of doo-doo, see above and make of that what you will). 

Without the art of the cover or cover art I wouldn’t have bought Redman WHAT THEE ALBUM or Spank Rock's YOYOYOYO or Yeah Yeah Yeahs IT'S BLITZ or M.I.A's ARULAR, or Diplo's GUNS KILL PEOPLE.
